KC Concoctions

The next stop was KC Concoctions, your typical, bar food-esque American cuisine featuring nachos, fries, burgers, etc. What really makes this truck special? UNLIMITED TOPPINGS. Simply choose whichever base food option you prefer, and then load it up with however many toppings you want- for no extra charge. We’re not just talking about ketchup and mustard here, you can add Bacon to anything you want. Bacon. Other notable options besides Bacon include your typical condiments as well as pulled pork, jalapeños, tomatoes, chicken, etc. and the glue that holds all delicious dishes together – sour cream.

I chose a classic base option, perfect for cleansing the palette with a bit of grease- fries, of the curly variety. Then I continued creating my dish with the best staples you can put on anything – bacon, sour cream, and onions. A minimalistic option for sure, but you can’t overwhelm yourself on a food truck crawl.

The Verdict? It was comforting in its predictability. I wish they had gone a little harder with the toppings, especially the Bacon, but the fries didn’t disappoint.
